PieceWise is excited to announce
the launch of our public alpha! In celebration of our launch, we've created a
$1,000 prize project! We are looking to crowdsource a unique marketing project
plan that when put into action, will help spread the news about PieceWise and
build a community of people who have great ideas. If you contribute to the
prize project, some of that $1,000 will flow into your pocket!
A prize project is a project
where a pool of money is available for those who contribute to the project.
Anyone can add to the pool. The pool is disbursed when the project closes and
the amount of the pool you receive depends on the number of points you earn for
working on the project. Some ways you can earn points are by creating pieces,
ranking pieces, and having your pieces from other projects used as pieces in a
new project. Additional ways can be found here. The larger your contribution to a
project, the more money you make from the project!
We are looking for a wide variety
of marketing ideas and tactics (both traditional and non-traditional). Simple ideas might include passing out
business cards at social events and updating our Twitter and Facebook page, but
we like to be original! Jason Jacobs of Runkeeper ran the Boston Marathon in an
iPhone suit with his app on it. What creative marketing ideas do you think
would work to bring people to PieceWise?
You will find the project here and the prize opportunity expires on August 20, 2012, so start early and keep
the creativity flowing! The amount you have earned for your participation will
be disbursed to you via PayPal shortly after the prize project closes.
